What Makes the Best Source Photo for an AI Relighting App?

Sharp focus matters most
A slightly blurry original photo stays soft under any relighting effect — the AI can change lighting and mood, but it can't add detail that was never captured.
A clearly visible subject
Whether it's a person or a pet, a subject that's clearly lit and unobstructed in the original photo gives the AI an accurate structure to rebuild lighting around.
Simple backgrounds work fine
Since a strong rim-light or backlight effect often darkens the background anyway, a plain or ordinary original background isn't a real limitation.
Does the original photo need to already be well-lit?
Reasonably so — a photo that's extremely dark, extremely overexposed, or very low resolution gives the AI less accurate information to work with than a clear, moderately well-lit starting point.
